Thanks so much for entering the Patatfees MTB Race… we know you are going to love it!
A few things to note on the big day.
When you arrive at the school to park, please note there will be a payment required of R10 for all non-participants in the day’s races. Kids will enter for free. Please be prepared.
As an online entrant, you will receive an envelope with your bike board, a red lucky draw ticket & a couple of cable ties.
You must keep your raffle ticket until we actually have the Lucky Draw at 1:15pm. At that time we will ask for the ticket halves to put in our raffle box. In this way we are hoping to do away with calling numbers for people that have already left!
Medals & Prize Giving:
This year, after much consideration, we have decided to give only first place medals to the winners of each category of the 55km, 45km & 30km. There will not be any silver or bronze medals handed out. We did this because after we surveyed last year’s participants, less than 5% of them said that they were interested in medals. In addition to this, we lost our main sponsor and still want to make a donation to our local charity. We hope you understand and welcome your feedback about this.
All participants in the 15km fun ride will still get medals, and they have a new prize system as well. When you finish the race, you will receive your medal. Be sure to check the back of your medal for a purple sticker. If you have a purple sticker, you win a Prize!! Go to the prize table at the coke trailer and select your prize!
55, 45 & 30km: You must keep your red Lucky Draw ticket until we actually have the Lucky Draw at 1:15pm. At that time we will ask for the ticket halves to put in our Lucky Draw box. In this way we are hoping to do away with calling numbers for people that have already left!
