Dear fellow MTB-ers,
It’s almost time for our big race! Excitement levels are increasing drastically this side, and the trails are looking great! We’ve just had some nice rain and the trails are stable… we are ready to roll! Now for the latest updates: You can register online with EntryNinja up to 15th of June before the race. If you are not an online person or want to wait until the last possible moment, we will accommodate you! For all you locals, you can fill in your forms and pay in person at The Bike Shop in Bredasdorp from the 13-16th of June, between the hours of 10-2pm which will speed you through registrations.
If you want to get your board and complete registration early, registrations will open at the Skills School venue on Friday June 17th between 4pm – 8pm, or Saturday from 6:30am. Please note that the late walk-in registrations on Friday night and Saturday will incur an extra R50 charge and must be paid in cash. If you know you will be a late registrant, but don’t want to fill in the form at the crack of dawn, you can download it here to fill in ahead of time.
So to recap: you can register on Friday from 4-8pm or Saturday from 6:30am to 8am; R50 fee applies for late registrations.
Looking for childcare at the Patatfees? We have a crèche from 7am-2pm right next to the start/finish area. You can contact Milane Boshoff for pricing and availability on 072 528 9661 or email email@example.com. You will need to sign an indemnity form for your little one, designate the times, and pay in cash for the agreed rate. Indemnity forms can be downloaded here.
Our prize pile is getting higher and higher… this year we have far surpassed even our own expectations for cool prizes! Drones, holiday accommodation, Bikes, helicopter trips – I mean seriously, need I go on!? I think it’s safe to say, this is going to be a hell of a good race, a great festival, and a brilliant day to be talked about for a long time! See you under the big tent at the Hermanus Brewery Bar! Or maybe at the wine tasting area – fancy tasting some wine from the Overberg area? You can choose from: Jean Daneel Wines, Black Oyster Catcher, First Sighting, Strandveld, Raka, Dabar Wines, and The Drift.
